Decorated Mini Brownie Bites

9.28.10

DSC_0299

Vancouver BC trip was awesome!! We ate a lot for the entire weekend from dimsum to sashimi buffet. I love the city and Vancouver BC is ranked one of the top 5 best cities to live in. It beats all the cities in the States! How about that? (hehe). We came back over the border with happiness.

I will be out of town again and then out of country. I can't wait for vacation to come sooner! I have so many things to do in little time. Work, foodie work, and a freelance gig while keeping my personal life balanced.

I know you are busy too.

Therefore, today's post is wordless and will let the photos tell the story. Before I begin, I came across this recipe on Tasty Kitchen and the recipe is from Ree the Pinoneer Woman. Once I saw the finished photos, I had set my mind on it. It tasted chocolatty, and the texture from chocolate chips are a food-gasm. Not to mention how adorable they look. I packed them for my beloved friends and I actually hand delivered!

To proof that it's good, Bella couldn't resist the chocolatty smell either. She ate a few and that caused her to go to a pet emergency hospital last week.

Tanantha I can see why you wanted to make these sweet little brownie bites when you first spied them at The Pioneer Woman, I need to check out that site more often. I like your 'wordless' approach with all the great photos and your shot on top of the red pan looks just perfect. These make such a nice gift, thanks for sharing;)

Ohhh these look so good. But you already know that, don't you?

These kind of remind me of those mini donuts with the chocolate glaze that you can get at the grocery store for really cheap. I'm sure they're far more delicious, of course. :P

Hi Tanantha,

Omg girl, don't even get me started on what a great city Vancouver is. My hubby has been trying to get me to move there but it's hard to leave my parents. The food IS amazing isn't it? Everytime we go we try to have all you can eat sushi and hot pot at least once. The only complain I have is the rain. Glad you had such a wonderful time! And did you say you're going on another vacation? LUCKY DUCKY! I think I need an out of the country one soon too. So excited for you! Definitely enjoy your vacation and don't even worry about blogging, truly enjoy it my friend.

These chocolate treats look so enticing and yummy. I have a weakness for chocolates. I absolutely love the packaging Tanantha! It's done so professionally, and it's super cute too! Great job all around! Don't forget to make a check list while packing. I always do that so I don't forget anything like underwear lol. Hope you have a super duper relaxing time!

These little bites look so rich and delicious, Tanantha. I can see why you had your heart set on them! Oh, and I love your step by step photos. Thanks! I know they are a lot of work. I might use them to make these when I'm all moved;)
Hey, me has a question... Your photos are so lovely, and I'm thinking about getting a new camera soon. Do you mind sharing the type of camera you use? If you're not okay with it, that's fine-really:) Just thought I'd ask (smile). XO, Stella

I'm so glad you enjoyed Vancouver! It is a wonderful city - lots of stuff to see (and to eat!). Next time you take a trip up Twitter or email me and I'll throw a few recommendations your way :)

Also - those little bites are so cute. Not too cute to gobble up, though.

I love finding uses for my mini muffin pan, and you've clearly hit on a great one! I love the variation here too...so many different ways to decorate (nuts, fruit, sprinkles, graham crackers) Thanks for sharing this idea, love! I wish I had a few now!

These look like they came straight out of a high-end chocolaterie! :) Beautiful job!

Adorable! I have an unused mini muffin pan, and this would be an excellent use for it--particularly with the holidays coming up!

Whoa, that's a nice camera, Tanantha. I just looked it up;) Thanks for the information. I will compare that one to Canon. Oh, and I have heard that Nikon is better than Canon. It seems a lot of bloggers do like the Canon Rebel though. I'm confused (smile).
Okay, well, I hope you guys have a great week. XO, Stella
